Such was the brilliance of Pete Townshends creative vision in 1969 it seems only right that now we can fully appreciate what he was setting out to achieve with the release of The Whos, Tommy Digital Box Set. This is an exciting new way to explore the unique world of Pete Townshends creative mind and the amazing music that sounds as fresh and innovative today as when it was written. In 1969, Pete was just 23 years old when Tommy was released; both creatively ands sonically his was a step into unchartered territory, making the release of Tommy groundbreaking.

Play edits & purchase all the tracks from the newly 2013 remastered version of Tommy including 20 unreleased tracks consisting of Pete’s original demos and out-takes, plus a live bootleg album of 21 previously unreleased tracks taken almost entirely from the 1969 tour.
